Today I am joining fellow photographer's over at Life With My 3 Boybarians for sweet shot tuesday.
I decided to choose this picture for today's photo share, due to the fact that it is also my selection for entering Pioneer Woman's current photography contest. You might be surprised to find out that the theme for this weeks PW photo assignment is simply "green".
Now this may be a little confusing as the above photo is black and white. But as you can see, the original picture below fits the assignment quite well.
It is amazing what can happen if you are willing to look past the imperfections of your photos.
As soon as I saw this photo I was captivated by my daughter's eyes. Perhaps I was biased.
You see, all my daughters have very dark chocolate brown eyes, while I have green eyes. I suppose it was my only chance to see what might have been?

Regardless of the colour, the reflecting light created a sparkle I loved.
Unfortunately the green tinge wasn't quite as attractive as a skin tone.
So when I decided to see what the picture looked like as a black and white, I was thrilled. You would never have guessed the tint of the original was so drastically green.
Who knows? Maybe that perfect shot is already sitting in your photo archives.
Take another look. Try something new.
You never know what you might find.
