About Me

Hi There!
Dana Badge
This is a Messy place both figuratively and more often than I like, literally, and sometimes laundry-tively.

A world of three daughters, one Agronomist (who I secretly believe is a CIA agent) and no dog.

So... when I'm not eating cookies and chocolate, or attempting to close my plastic container drawer, I look forward sharing with you, as well as photographing, the daily "goings on" of this family.

This includes the decorating of the Bungalow, parenting tween and teen daughters and photography.  Due to Analysis Paralysis though my progress tends to be slow. As a result, on occasion, I may ask for your opinions and help.

Did I mention I love visitors and am thrilled you stopped by.  Especially since here, you don't have to see my dirty dishes and dust bunnies!

Enjoy my world: One Story, Photograph, Room,  Paint chip, Closet, Outfit, Insecurity, and Question at a time.

I'm A Small City Canadian Mom Living In A Big Messy World.
And I'm so happy you stopped by!

Send me an email at bungalow56blog@gmail.com.

I'd love to hear from you.

NEATNESS
"We must avoid fastidiousness;
neatness when it is moderate, is a virtue;
but when it is carried to an extreme,
it narrows the mind."
~Francois de Salignac Fenelon
(I love the french)

MISTAKES
"Everyone makes mistakes.
The trick is to make mistakes when nobody is looking."
~unkown

HOUSEWORK
Cleaning your house while your kids are still growing
is like shoveling the walk before it stops snowing.
~Phillis Diller
Phillis Diller's Housekeeping Hints, 1966

WRITING
A professional writer is an amateur who didn't quit.
~Richard Bach

PHOTOGRAPHY
There are no rules for good photographs,
there are only good photographs.
~Ansel Adams

WORRYING
Worrying is like a rocking chair... it give you something to do,
but doesn't get you anywhere.

ENTHUSIASM
One man has enthusiasm 10 minutes, another 10 days,
but it is the man who has it 10 years
who makes a success of his life.
~Edward B. Butler
