I've been in a bit of a blogging slump,
and I'm not sure why.
Well that really isn't true.
I do know why.
My computer has been cantankerous.
It told me it's hard drive was full. Can you believe the nerve?
Apparently one should not ignore this message indefinitely, because...
one day your computer will just stop.
Not that I would know anything about that.
I looked after this little problem with a three Terabyte external hard drive.
If you're a techie, I think that I might have just impressed you.
If you're not, well it's the Muhammad Ali of boxing hard drives.
The Taylor Swift of country singing hard drives.
And just possibly, the Matt Damon of amazing actor hard drives.
Then when I thought I was on my way, my iPhoto decided it wouldn't save my edits.
I didn't realize this until "after" I had stayed up until 1:00am working on finishing a wonderful little girl's one year old photo shoot.
Did I mention 1:00 am?
Oh... I did?
It doesn't really matter, because she was such a cutie patootie!
Anyway, after calling Apple care, it seems in order to fix the problem I need to save all my pictures again, just in case they are lost when this little problem is being fixed.
So I bought another Ali/Swift/Damon.
And hopefully my blogging slump will disappear, and my picture edits will reappear!
But all is not slumpy.
The Agronomist has been trying his best to lift my spirits.
He's been sending me the most romantic pictures while on the road.
This one above is of his wheat field.
He sent it with a few hearts.
I'm not quite sure if they were meant for me or for the crop.
And I decided it would be best not to inquire.
I'm smart that way.
See you on the other side of a terabyte : )
Where blog slumps are given a kick in the arse.
xoxo,
PS All pictures were SOOC, which means straight out of the camera.
No editing currently going on at Bungalow'56 :(
This post will be linking up with Darcy at My3Boybarians for Sweet Shot Tuesday.
And no I'm not referring to the pictures of the wheat...
much to The Agronomist's surprise.
Oh gosh is she adorable!!!! Hope everything is sorted out soon!
ReplyDeleteSweet photos! I love that 3rd one~that grin! Good luck on getting everything sorted out!
ReplyDeleteBrilliant SOOC shots! Love the third photo, just gorgeous! Love the wheat shots very much too. Hope all your computer issues are soon sorted with no mishaps.
ReplyDeleteShe is so adorable! And the wheat, yes the wheat makes my heart go pitter patter but then I'm one of those open plains, row upon row of corn and wheat types of gals! It makes me think of fall and combines, a crispness in the air, bonfires and apple cider, driving down long dusty roads to check cattle and so many other wonderful things! It reminds me of the many hours spent on my grandparent's farm as a young adult!! So thank you!
ReplyDeleteOh she's precious!
ReplyDeleteI'm in the same slump. It's probably the heat. Supposed to top 115 this week. Isn't summer over?
ReplyDeleteShe is so cute! I love the fields too.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos.
ReplyDeleteAnd our poor computer is limping along these days.
Drive getting full.
Me getting so scared.

Computer problems are such a pain.
