This is one of the reasons why I haven't been blogging much.
We have been touring many gyms in our city and the surrounding communities.
The locations have usually been well lit and smelled somewhat of rubber and sweat.
The yelling and screaming tended to be constant and loud.
Middlest was at the heart of it.
It has been a lot of fun as the group of girls are truly wonderful and a little bit crazy.
Middlest has found her sport.
And she has been able to share it with her sister who has helped coach.
Middlest is in grade eight and has had the opportunity to be on an amazing team.
She has learned so much over the last year all wrapped up in a whole lot of fun.
We are so thankful for her coach and his approach to developing
not only skilled Volleyball players but also great sports(wo)men.
And while I won't miss the smell of rubber and sweat and the screaming;
I will miss cheering them on and seeing that look of determination.
The one that makes you believe she can do anything.
PS I have not only been a lazy blogger but also a lazy photographer.
All of these photo's were taken by number 12's dad.
With shot's like these you can see why my camera never left it's case!
Thanks Neal for some amazing photographs we will treasure forever.
Oh my goodness. I was just thinking about emailing you to say where are you. And here you just popped up!
ReplyDeleteYou are living in my world. We are both volleyball moms. Does your middlest play middle? Or is she outside?
Congrats to the team. Awesome...and they look like they have a lot of fun together!
Our club travel season is just starting. Emily is playing in an older age group. The competition will be fierce. I'm scared but she is up for it...and excited!
Good to see you here again!

What an unforgettable experience for both of you! I love cheering on my own kids, in soccer and hockey. Our soccer season goes through the winter, so I stand huddle in the wind and rain while my heart bursts with pride!
ReplyDeleteBeing a mom first does not make you a lazy blogger!
What a fun experience and time for all of you!
ReplyDeleteIt's neat watching life through our eyes and not just a view finder sometimes!
