You've Been Waiting With Baited Breath

I'm feeling very Dr. Seussian today.

Can you tell I was a highly hated revered Junior high teacher before I started this gig?
I have many tricks up this proverbial sleeve.

I mentioned we went for a picnic a few days back?

Well I took hundreds of pictures. You've looked at three so far.

They will have absolutely nothing to do with what I'm writing about.

Just thought I would warn you in case you are one of those people who would 

desperately try to find the connection between my words and the image.

There is none.

I chose sleep over writing a post last night.
Can you tell I'm getting older?  That extra year just did me in.

I did write a few really funny things in my head though.
But they're *poof* gone,  just like that.

I haven't told you yet, but I almost died two days ago.
It was a crazy close call.
It was my own fault.
I have no business trying to play soccer with my kids.
Especially in sandals.
When I've had a chance to fully recover I will tell you all about it.
I don't have any pictures though,
so I thought I would ask my kids to draw what they saw.
It might be a good way for them to work through their trauma.

Boy I wish I could remember that funny bit I thought of last night.

It's killing me.

Did you know I'm a worrier?

I am.

Big time.

And I'm going to share that my current worry is that no one is reading this as you've all decided to click to another blog.

But then again, how would you know if you are leaving behind $40 smackaroos?
