For a 1/2 hour she worked diligently.
Until...
She created something....
And then it was time...
To start all over again.
I hope she approaches everything in life,
in the exact same way.

I love this series! My daughter has been trying to blow bubbles too.
ReplyDeleteWhat a little beauty! My 6yo only just started chewing gum (I finally relented this weekend). Perfect little bubble!
ReplyDeleteShe stuck with this much longer than I would have. I too hope this is a personality trait.
ReplyDeletePersistence..and practice...and patience! She's off to a great start!
ReplyDeleteGreat shots!
Persistence is a must-have trait! Whether it is with gum or relationships! Love it! She is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteAww! What a great observation!!
ReplyDeleteYeah!! It paid off...
ReplyDeleteI just love seeing pictures of your gorgeous girls!
Have a blessed day♥
I absolutely LOVED and adored this post. How wonderfully creative of you! She looks like she is so much fun!
ReplyDeleteSo cute!!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun to practice!
What an amazing collection of photos!
ReplyDeleteThe second to the last one is my favorite. The softness in her eyes makes me swoon.
So lovely!
YAY - love this. Any tips as my 8 year old is going crazy that she cannot do this.
ReplyDeleteGreat post! Love the photos.
ReplyDeleteThe third from last photo is the best! It has "success" written all over her face!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos - now I want to try to capture something like that :)
What a fashionista! Gorgeous photos (as always)
ReplyDeleteWow, very determined. My girls loved these shots. Both of them really want to master this trick but so far they have only managed a few small ones.

I love the story your photos tell. My boys still can't blow bubbles. I think they lack the patience to sit there for a 1/2 hour. Ah, boys.
ReplyDeletevery sweet post dana ;-)
ReplyDeleteI bet she will. Usually the way we are kind of generalizes through all the areas of our life, don't you think?
ReplyDeleteShe is darling.
=)
I love the "story" of the bubble gum bubble. :)
ReplyDeleteLove it. I never could blow a good bubble. Maybe I didn't stick to it long enough.
ReplyDeletegreat series!
ReplyDeleteLove these. You are a really gifted photographer. :) I'm your newest follower, thanks to @itsmoments.
ReplyDeleteSO cute and what a great idea!
ReplyDeleteWhat is it about your photography that is just so friendly?
ReplyDeleteIt isn't aloof or unattainable, it seems so effortless.
Wonderful stuff, I love it.
Great pics mate - and you really do have gorgeous girls!
ReplyDeletei love the way you chronicle your life!
ReplyDeleteawww love these shots and the captions you put along with them. sweet.
ReplyDeleteThis is so cool. Don't hate if I end up stealing this idea.
ReplyDeleteLove the series and she is GORGEOUS!!
ReplyDeleteShe is beautiful. :)
ReplyDeleteI still remember the first time I made a bubble. How great that you have pictures to remind her of it later!
ReplyDeleteNice pics too! She is gorgeous. And yes, I hope she remembers that lesson!
ReplyDeletePersistence definitely pays off! She's beautiful - and her bubble blowing technique is perfection! ;) I'm now following you! :)

Love. It!! The photo essay is fab, the lesson perfect, the subject matter couldn't be more fun and the result? Fab-u-lous!!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely LOVE this! So many kids these days expect instant gratification, for things to happen quickly and easily. You've raised a good one there, taking her time to learn something new.
ReplyDeleteAnd what a smile she had once she accomplished it.
Remarkable.... I love your comment that you hope she approaches everything in life the exact same way.... very sweet!
ReplyDeleteI love that quality in kiddos...pleasantly persistent. They try and try and try....frustration must come with adulthood....because I love to watch this persistence in kids.
ReplyDeleteI just love these pictures. Look at the joy on her face when she accomplished it. Just SO lovely :)
