A year is a long time.
And with a net full of holes memory like mine, thank goodness I take pictures.
I might have forgotten that Eldest turned 16,
and that I almost had to apply for American citizenship.
Looking back has a way of making looking forward so exciting.
If it's half as good as where I've come from,
then I'm doubly excited to start putting one foot in front of the other.
The girls and I enjoyed kick starting this year with some sparkles falling from the sky,
while The Agronomist lived out a childhood dream and took his pa to the
Canadian/US Junior hockey game in the city for their birthdays.
We are gearing up for school,
and making lunches,
and clearing out the old to make room for the new.
It's going to be a good year friends.
I can feel it in my bones.
And these creaky old knees don't lie.
We're going to have so much future fun,
I'm letting you in on a little secret.
Lean in a little closer...
That's it....
This will be Bungalow'56's exclusive...
2012
is. going. to. be. the.
BEST YEAR EVER!
That's the truth.
That's the truth.
xoxo,
PS The idea for this collage was shamelessly taken from Meg Deurksen over at her blog whatever.
Love the shameless copying of the collage idea, and may yet nick it myself ;-)
ReplyDeleteYou've had a fab year and here's to an even more fab 2012!
xx
Bring it on. We are ready. Also these pictures are all kinds of happy. xo
ReplyDeleteI love how you get to have pink, red, purple, and orang in your wonderful pictures. My son's pictures are filled with blue.
ReplyDeletelove love love the 2011 collage - ironically, learning to create cool photo editing masterpieces like this was one of my 2011 goals ... I got as far as i-movie to fade my photos together into a music video slide show, but I never did progress into the actual 'picasa' end of things (creating collages, adding words on top of pics, etc) ... but there's always 2012, right?! in any event, i really love your end result here - very very cool!! my favorite photo of all is the winter pic of your 3 girls (beaver hat, pink hat, green hat) - what a winner ... Happy New Year, friend ...
ReplyDeleteYour girls are so lovely. (And it's clear where they get it from!)

I'm also ready for a great 2012!
