A Heartbreaking Discovery

While I may be gift wrapped impaired (see yesterday's post), I thought it was important that I share with you the beautiful present the girls wrapped for their father, The Agronomist, yesterday.

While he and I enjoyed a romantic date at Home Depot looking for the perfect shelving unit for the garage; they were creating this gift wrapped work of art.

The gift was topped with a beautifully handmade paper bow.  The wrapped box was covered with cascading ribbon curls, falling down from every side, and the paper did not have any unsightly seams running down the center of the box.  It brought a tear to my eye. . . as I realized. . . they were likely not my children.

I'm not sure how it happened but somehow they had been switched at birth.

This is the only explanation I have.
