Remembrance Day

Lest We Forget
We live walk through our days unaware of the sacrifices being made.
We complain that our lives are a series of little inconveniences;
 about traffic jams and cold coffee.

But today, today I will remember how fortunate we are.
How this life I sometimes take for granted is one I need to cherish.
Not everyone has, or does live with my right to equality.

Bungalow'56 would like to take a moment to say

Thank You.

We are grateful to all those who make our freedom a blessing we enjoy every single day.

The Mounties marching down our street this morning on their way to the Remembrance Day celebration.

Type in Remembrance Day on YouTube to watch some videos today.

I dare you to not shed a tear.

  5. Beautiful post in Remembrance of all who serve and have given the ultimate sacrifice. My favorite remembrance video is "Pittance of Time" by Terry Kelly
