But why is Eldest looking so uncertain?
It's just a little boat ride.
Just like a baby swing...
But Eldest is anything but a baby.
So Middlest talked her into a real swing.
A Merry Go Round and Swing in one!
Have I ever told you all that I get terrible motion sickness?
Well I do.
The Agronomist found out about it on our honeymoon...
at the Universal Studio's Back To The Future ride : )
It is amazing what you learn about each other once you get married.
It would seem that maybe Eldest might take after her mother.
While the lighting made her look a little yellow, she was feeling more green.
She was out for the rest of the day.
The two younger ones decided to give it a go on their own.
They had already sat down once, had a change of mind, and got out before the ride began.
Tears were shed over what to do.
I told them it was going to be fun.
Loads of fun.
Fun, fun, fun!
(I just forgot to mention that I've never been on a roller coaster... oops.)
I wonder if they realized there was no turning back?
They were so brave.
I wonder if they minded I was screaming calling for them to hold on tight?
Really, really tight.
Looks of terror?
Maybe not so good.
They made it.
I could breath.
Breathing felt good.
My babies... getting off the roller coaster all in one piece.
It's all a mother can ask for.
It was quite the ride.
For both of us ; )

ReplyDeleteI got dizzy just looking at the pictures!!
ReplyDeleteI get sick on every ride now. That's just one of the long list of annoying things about getting older!
ReplyDelete=)
FUN!
ReplyDeleteI love to do these things.
It's grabbing life before it's all gone.
What a fun day! :)
ReplyDeleteThis is a wonderful way to spend a cold day!
ReplyDeleteok, what IS this amazing indoor amusement park?! how fun is that?! i'm envious - this would be perfect for us with the winter we're having this year ;-)
ReplyDeleteLOL!!!! I get dizzy on a regular swing now....and I used to go on the BIG roller coaster there.......and I'd twist myself up on those swings so I'd not only swing around, I'd twirl.....
ReplyDeleteWow...that first picture is crazy good! I felt a little motion sick after looking at it! Looks like a fun place!
ReplyDeleteGood heaves, what shutter speed were you using??
ReplyDeleteThose are brilliant shots.
I can barely get a decent picture of a sleeping cat.
Love this - but very dizzy now. oy.
ReplyDeleteThis is wonderful! So glad they survived. I must say I have that motions sickness thing too. Found an underground roller coaster, and I loved it! I couldn't see anything! How perfect is that ?
ReplyDeleteYour pictures make it all so real. I think I may be sick to my stomach too. I used to like roller coasters. Never loved them, but I could handle them. Then I had children. And that messed up my ear equalibrium or something...because when I spin them around in my arms I almost fall over from dizzy. I have 4 boys. What am I gonna do? Send Hubs. Looks like a lot of fun...for 2 of them at least.
ReplyDeleteThose pictures are ALL crazy good! What wonderful memories!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great escape from the cold!
ReplyDeleteI'm with you and the eldest....but glad the others seemed to like it all. Cute Q post:)
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a lot of fun :) I love riding the rides but they also terrify me since I have a slight problem with the heights thing. Wondering now if I can still do coasters after having E....I guess I should find out :)
ReplyDeleteyou always always make me smile!
ReplyDeleteI'm a speed freak, so I'd be out there with your two youngest. :-D

ReplyDeleteI'm with you and eldest...not a fan of the rides!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures! Your oldest daughters face in the first picture is priceless.
ReplyDeleteI used to be able to handle spinning rides like the tilt-a-whirl in my younger days. Now, not so much. Sigh. Your girls are beautiful, by the way.
ReplyDeletepoor Eldest!
ReplyDeleteps my husband is afraid of roller coasters! I have to go alone ;)
