Quite The Ride!

This was the perfect escape from our cold and snowy winter.
But why is Eldest looking so uncertain?

It's just a little boat ride.
Just like a baby swing...

But Eldest is anything but a baby.

So Middlest talked her into a real swing.

A Merry Go Round and Swing in one!

Have I ever told you all that I get terrible motion sickness?
Well I do.
The Agronomist found out about it on our honeymoon...
at the Universal Studio's Back To The Future ride : )
It is amazing what you learn about each other once you get married.

It would seem that maybe Eldest might take after her mother.
While the lighting made her look a little yellow, she was feeling more green.
She was out for the rest of the day.

The two younger ones decided to give it a go on their own.
They had already sat down once, had a change of mind, and got out before the ride began.
Tears were shed over what to do.
I told them it was going to be fun.
Loads of fun.
Fun, fun, fun!
(I just forgot to mention that I've never been on a roller coaster... oops.)

I wonder if they realized there was no turning back?
They were so brave.
I wonder if they minded I was screaming calling for them to hold on tight?

 Really, really tight.

Smiles are a good sign, right?

Looks of terror?
Maybe not so good.

They made it.
I could breath.
Breathing felt good.

My babies... getting off the roller coaster all in one piece.
It's all a mother can ask for.

It was quite the ride.

For both of us ; )

xoxo,

  12. Your pictures make it all so real. I think I may be sick to my stomach too. I used to like roller coasters. Never loved them, but I could handle them. Then I had children. And that messed up my ear equalibrium or something...because when I spin them around in my arms I almost fall over from dizzy. I have 4 boys. What am I gonna do? Send Hubs. Looks like a lot of fun...for 2 of them at least.

  16. That looks like a lot of fun :) I love riding the rides but they also terrify me since I have a slight problem with the heights thing. Wondering now if I can still do coasters after having E....I guess I should find out :)
