I should have known better.
It all started when I decided to bake some green cupcakes for Youngest's class.
Somehow they must have broken into my oven.
Look what they did!?
But instead of admitting defeat,
I decided a little more icing never hurt anyone.
The second batch turned out nicely and with a few green sprinkles....
St. Patrick's day looked as though it was going to be a resounding success.
But I was sadly mistaken.
I am on my way with Eldest to Soccer Provincials.
I am sharing this little story with you from the Motel 6's foyer computer.
When I get off my marathon bus ride I will finish the story tonight!
Seven hours down, only five hours to go!
xoxo,
PS
I've packed the wrong download cable for my camera, so I am afraid the photos will have to wait until Monday...
Have a wonderful weekend everyone, especially if you are not riding on a bus : )
Dear Eldest... I am joking.
I would take a bus ride to the end of the earth if you were with me.
This little story is linking up with Alphabe Thursday's letter ~W~

Those darn Leprechaun's! That got to our house too :))
ReplyDeleteOh, you are such a slice of life.
ReplyDeleteGreat back-up plan.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to hear the end of your St. Paddy's Day story. It's bound to be entertaining.
They look pretty good...what could possibly go wrong?
ReplyDeleteCan't tell at all with the icing....isn't that the best part, anyway????
ReplyDeleteI think they look perfect!
ReplyDeleteFrosting always comes to my rescue.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to hear the rest of the story.
=)
Oh yes, love how frosting works so well! Your cupcakes look yummy!
ReplyDeleteAnd hope that the soccer games went well!
Blessings & aloha!
Hmmmmm I think I made the exact same cupcakes for my son's class once! I did the same repair job too!
ReplyDeleteI hope the finals went well! I would have been willing to eat the dented cupcakes.
ReplyDeleteAs long as they taste good, that's all the matters!
ReplyDeleteYou'd think by now the ornery little green fellas would have figured out, you ALWAYS have a plan B.
ReplyDeleteThat's OK. You keep them up there and outsmart them with your quick thinking.
I'm too slow to keep up down here!
Thanks for a wonderful wrap up to Alphabe-Thursday's letter "W".
A+
I just love the green!
