I Like Them...And I Think You Will Too

While we have been enjoying my Inconsiderate sister's visit I've been blogging a little less.
You see, I'm on a mission.
I just feel she needs to start thinking about me others for a change and begin looking her age.
So.... as you can imagine I've been very busy...
trying to encourage her to spend as much time outside in the sun without sunscreeen.
As a result we have been taking the time to enjoy all the sites and sounds our hometown has to offer,
and having a great time playing tourist in our own backyard.
My sister?  She's wearing a hat.

So while we galavant around our little Canadian city.
I thought I would leave you with a few places to check out too.
I figured you might find the following blogs as interesting and entertaining as I did.
I hope you enjoy your visiting!
And be sure to say Hi for me.

Rebekah over at Potholes and Pantyhose is a roadie, crafting, picture taking wife.  And she does it all with panache.  Stop on over and check out her photography or follow her tutorial on how to build the harvest table below.  This she manages to do when she is not on the road with her rocker husband.
She oozes retro coolness.
In my dreams I am she.

I'm not sure how I found Oops There Goes My Mind , but when I read this post about getting a ticket I knew I wanted to read more.  A mom of five, four boys one girl, blogs about her life with her deaf husband, and all of the hi-jinx they get into as a signing couple. The "So I Married A Deaf Man Series" is chronicled here.

And this post over at Count It All Joy cracked me up.
And that little hint as to the topic of the post secretly cracks me up too.
I just had to share it.
I love her header and all the yummy good things she has listed on her left hand side bar.
Check her out to find this rainbow cake recipe.  Mmmm...mmm.

And last but not least I would like to introduce you to Megan from Best Of Fates, who always makes me laugh whether I'm enjoying her clever tweets or her fun posts.

  9. I had to drop in from New Friend Fridays to see what your blog was all about, strictly because of the name. Now, I'm glad I did. It's interesting and colorful, with the right touch of a real person behind the curtain. (reference to Wizard of Oz.) lol Anyway, I just became your newest follower. I'll be back. :) Pam @ Sallygoodin
